A play to steal your heart with a generous mix of larceny, love and laughter. A charming con man breaks into what he thinks is an empty apartment only to find a mysterious woman waiting for him. Despite his outlandish stories, she always seems two steps ahead of him, until the audience is left wondering who is really the better con artist? Just when we figure out what is really going on, a middle-aged man enters with a remote control, heart-strewn boxer shorts, and the same name as the mysterious woman! The best-laid plans collapse into felonious fun when a love-struck neighbor completes the ensemble. Synopsis

The River Ridge High crowd is back in this thought-provoking, often humorous sequel to the popular teen comedy. Everybody thought that Nicky's life was almost perfect. She had a great group of friends, did well in school, and was now going out with Russell, a star athlete and the most popular guy at River Ridge High. Even Nicky would say everything was fine—until the bruises started to show. After it becomes common knowledge that her boyfriend is abusive, Nicky insists it's no big thing—that he doesn't really mean to hurt her. Like so many women trapped in a difficult relationship she finds the choice between love, loyalty and personal safety is easier to make with your head than your heart. The River Ridge High series tackles important issues facing today's teens. Each title can be presented on its own or performed together as a full evening of education and entertainment.

The Carrie Variations

Synopsis

Take two female characters with cross purposes. Place then in a simple household setting, and set them free to deceive, intimidate or outwit each other. Add one male character halfway through, in order to bring the
simmering plots to a boil.

Now restart the process in Act Two with those same two characters in the familiar setting - only now with new secrets and different agendas. Begin with the same opening lines, sprinkle in a number of matching props and
plot devices, introduce a male character at the appropriate time, but let it all spin madly off in new and unexpected directions.

And then do it all again in Act Three, as you live through
the cascading... twists and turns of THE CARRIE VARIATIONS
